Renault, Dacia’s head in Romania to become new CEO of AvtoVAZ

MOSCOW, Apr 16 (PRIME) -- Yves Caracatzanis, the current CEO of Renault and Dacia in Romania, will become the CEO of Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ starting from June 1, core owner of AvtoVAZ Alliance Rostec Auto B.V. said in a statement on Monday.

Current CEO of AvtoVAZ Nicolas Maure will focus on obligations of a senior Renault vice president, head of the company’s Eurasia division, and of a deputy chairman of the board of directors of AvtoVAZ, the company said.

Alliance Rostec Auto B.V. is a joint venture of Renault-Nissan Alliance and Russian state industrial corporation Rostec.
